The office suite is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and contains the writer application, presentations and spreadsheets, but also adds forms and mathematics tools and databasing. This is the perfect alternative for Microsoft Word for all your writing and formatting needs. You can also use it to create your business cards and address labels.

Even if you write your book online for the convenience of sharing your document with editors or beta readers, you will need to format the manuscript to send it to print. This office suite allows all the regular formatting and it also natively prints to PDF without extra plugins. Master LibreOffice and you will save a lot on formatting your books.
